Due to the flood damage to Mill st. class site may vary until road is repaired. After the repair to Mill st, we will resume classes at the "Grove". LOYALSOCK CLEAN UP CONTINUED!Lycoming County Disaster Relief Fund at the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania has recently awarded funds to Clinton County CleanScapes for flood related cleanup in LycomingCounty.We are currently seeking volunteers to remove flood debris and trash from the land areas along the Loyalsock Creek.We are in need of the following types of assistance:·Manual labor to pick up and carry debris·Pickup trucks with operators to transport debris to roll-off dumpsters·Heavy equipment with operators·Donations of individually bagged baked goods·Monetary donations to sponsor roll-off rentals*This is a great opportunity forservice hours in the community.We are in need of up to 500 volunteers and many hard workers to beautify the Loyalsock again. Please help spread the word!Important DetailsDate: Saturday, April 28thTime: Plan to report to your assigned “station” by 9:00 AM followed by lunch at 12:30 PMRegistration:All volunteers must register to the project director by April 24th.Registering will assure that you will have the proper safety gear, a lunch, and will give you a “station” assignment. It would be best if everyone preregisters, this would allow for planning.

It will be a blank email form, include your name, what tools you want to bring, pry bars, hammers (big and small) we will need to make things small enough to handle. If you would like work in a certain area or with a certain group mention it. i.e. Country Ski. This event is a creek bank clean up we will not be in the water.
Five major sites have been targeted due to the amount of man made debris at these sites. Three meeting sites have been selected. The volunteers will be divided into groups accordingly. We need to preregister so plans can come together. Come prepared to get dirty and wet, wear work clothes and work boots.
